Hi, I'm Courtney. I make Ghost themes — and I love what Ghost has made possible for independent creators. Owning your audience, building something that's genuinely yours, not paying a percentage of every subscriber you've worked hard to earn. It's a meaningful shift, and I think the tools available to creators on Ghost should match that ambition.

Atlas Themes grew out of a simple observation: some of the most interesting creators arriving on Ghost — video podcasters, short-form video publishers, newsletter builders — have a very specific format they publish in. And I wanted to make themes that were genuinely built around those formats, where every design decision traces back to how that creator actually works.

Every Atlas theme starts with a specific creator and a specific way of publishing. The design follows from there.

So Atlas Vertical is built around short-form vertical video — phone-frame display, vertical scroll architecture, email capture woven into each content page. Atlas Cast is built around the video podcaster who needs to bring YouTube viewers into an owned email list. Each theme has one format it's genuinely designed for, and that specificity is what I think makes them worth buying.

Every theme ships at GScan 100/100 with zero npm dependencies — vanilla Handlebars and CSS, no build tools, installs in three clicks. I care about this because creators shouldn't have to worry about their theme breaking when Ghost updates. It should just work, reliably, for as long as you use it.

Atlas Themes is a small, focused studio. Themes ship when they're genuinely ready. Demos are built with real, coherent content — because that's the only honest way to show what a theme can do. Documentation is written for the person actually installing it.
